and super useful for other types of bondage using restraints as well, in case of emergency or just for ease of release. The blunt tip lets you slide these scissors against skin without fear of injuring the person restrained while you cut them out. Also really good sharp scissors generally for cutting lengths of rope shorter, or whatever else.

There's nothing sexier than playing safely, and having these scissors around makes me feel more confident as a top (it's important to have exit strategies and have tools/knowledge on what to do in case an emergency comes up), and safe as a bottom. It's only $6, and worth it. When this isn't within reach for a scene or play time, it lives in my first-aid kit because yes, it is one that EMTs use to cut through clothing/gauze! It's also great for medical play if you wanna play it up!

or even bondage tape for that matter, then you really need these. I totally thought I could get by using regular scissors, and it is possible, but you have to be really careful. Which is not always the easiest in the heat of the moment, or even after the heat of the moment when you're tired and ready for aftercare! These make it much easier to make sure you're cutting only rope/tape and no skin. Well worth investing in.

These scissors are similar to those used by medical personnel to cut bandages - they won’t risk cutting the skin, like a regular pair of scissors might. If you’re tying someone up, be sure to have these on hand! Necessary in case of emergencies, whether they be weather related, or because someone is having circulation issues or just needs to be untied like, RIGHT NOW. Don’t get tied or tie without them.

These don't cost much so you have no excuse. Fires, freak outs, earthquakes. They all happen from time to time so be prepared. Also you can cut off your subs clothes with them.
